Sonart is the union of two associations: the Swiss Music Union founded in 1997, and the Swiss Musicians Association founded in 2011. The merger took place in 2017.

 

Sonart aims to defend the interests of its members at the political level and in civil society, in particular their working and living conditions. It offers a wide range of services and advice to its members.
